One World

Frankly, my dears, the world is really screwed up. No matter which God or entity is worshiped, surely kindness and love are at the core. What is so damn difficult about being kind and respectful of others? What is so hard about getting along? It seems to me that it is our duty, our responsibility as thinking beings to help others and take care of this planet. That's it! That's our purpose in life. But, look how far we have strayed from that! We have become diseased with greed, power, and hatred. Whew! It blows my mind and hurts my heart.

From space we are one world. There are no borders, only land masses and water. People aren't even specks. Where does the arrogance and superiority to hurt others come from? It's man-made. Aside from natural disasters, ALL the ills of this world are man-made. It is totally our fault that we aren't getting along and making the world a better place for everyone. We have allowed religion, ethnicity, geography, and culture to warp us. Nothing and no one is more important than anything or anyone else.
